So I have a favorite color. Light pink is like my everything this Spring. I'm just loving the soft, dainty look of it right now.

Lace up anything is on trend right now. Whether it be flats, or dresses, if it laces up, you can be sure to make a statement.

This beautiful dress is a very affordable version of some of the higher end lace up dresses that you're seeing on the runway right now.

The details in this dress are very impressive considering I paid under $30 for it! I love the high slit in the skirt. I think it is a subtle way to make the dress a little more than just a "lace-up dress".

If I were you, I'd run to buy this dress. Embrace the lace-up trend! I've linked this exact dress here!

Pajama Day + Outfit Details

Why can't it be pajama day every day?

I'm a sucker for nightshirts. Like literally, if I see one in a store, I am so drawn to it immediately. It is inevitable. How can you not love them?! It's like wearing no pants- but you're still decent. That's love, y'all.

This beautiful little nightie is from Old Navy. I love that it goes all the way to my knees so I do not have to worry about any "wardrobe malfunctions" while wearing it around the house.

I was so excited about doing this pajama shoot with the fabulous Alyssa Moseley Photography. I wanted a soft, delicate feel with these shots and Alyssa captured that feel perfectly.
Make sure to check her out if you are from the Kentucky area, she will not let you down! All of her social media is linked below!

Spring has Sprung + Outfit Details

Long time no see! Since the last time I posted, I've been sure that Spring has arrived at least twelve different times... But this time I think I'm right when I say, Spring has sprung!

If there's one thing for certain, it is that maxi dresses are everything when it comes to Spring and Summer. A gorgeous dress that makes me look at least two inches taller AND makes me look slimmer?! I'll take it.

This show-stopping dress is perfect for Spring. It is so light and airy, yet so classic and beautiful. The cool toned colors just send this perfect Spring dress right over the top. I love it.

The colors in this dress are so vibrant and beautiful. The pleated bottom forces you to spin, it's inevitable. Another great thing about the pleated bottom is that when you walk, the fabric will literally make you look like you are floating. As if the rest of the world needs more proof that you are an angel.

I have always been one to struggle with what shoes to wear with maxi dresses in the Spring season. I always feel like it is too early to wear sandals. These caramel colored booties complemented this dress perfectly and they kept my toes nice and toasty!

This dress purchased from Hazel & Olive boutique is perfect to throw on for these gorgeous Spring days. I found that it was a dress where I did not have to worry about it and I think that is reason enough to run to THIS LINK to purchase it for yourself!

Thank you so much for stopping by! See ya next time!

HUGE shoutout to the beautiful Alyssa Moseley for capturing these gorgeous shots of me and this dress. I will link all of her social media below- I highly recommend you check her out!

Sequined Leggings + Outfit Details

It is safe to say that I hate Valentine's day... But red is my color so obviously a shoot was required.

I feel like listening to me talk about fashion recommendations for Valentine's Day is like asking me for relationship advice (ha-ha). BUT I promise I know more about fashion than relationships.

Red is just a staple color for the month of February. I scored big time on this Cynthia Rowley sweater at T.J. Maxx. I love how true the red color is. Sometimes red can lean more towards the pinkish side, or the maroon side, but this sweater is just straight up red- Perfect for Vday!

Let's talk about the elephant in the pictures here. How about these sequined leggings?! I've never felt more like a diva in my entire life. I freaking love these leggings. I feel like Valentine's Day is one of the few days of the year where wearing excessive sequins is totally acceptable. I found these particular ones at Target on clearance so they aren't available online anymore- but I've linked some other options here & here!

I paired this outfit with, yep, you guessed it, these obviously loved Nine West black heels.

So this Valentine's Day be a pair of sequined leggings in a world of jeans ;)

Thanks for stopping by! See ya next time!

Bachelor Monday + Outfit Details

It's Bachelor Monday!

My favorite show hands down is the Bachelor. Lots of girls fighting for one hot guy... What more could you ask for?! For this photoshoot I bought myself roses and forced my photographer (aka best friend) to meet me at "our spot". I felt that with it being almost Valentine's Day and Bachelor Monday, this was the perfect time to showcase my love for fur considering this outfit would totally qualify for "date night material"

I think it is pretty obvious that black has been the main color in my wardrobe so far this winter. Honestly though, I have been a huge fan of black clothing since the day I heard black is a slimming color!  I just adore the classic, sophisticated look and feel of wearing all black. Throw on some black skinny jeans and a black shirt and you look so put together, yet not too overachiever-ish. (AND black looks really good with red roses)

Who doesn't love a good fur vest? I've been addicted to wearing all black lately, but sometimes the all black can be a little overpowering. This fur vest is perfect for dividing up all the darkness. I bought mine from the kid's section at Old Navy, but these vests are EVERYWHERE right now (and probably on sale!)

Another trend that I am really trying to get into is the hat trend. I'm trying y'all! I love this black one by ASOS. I've linked my hat here!

I just paired a simple pair of Nine West black pointed toe heels to add to the classic look of this outfit.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you enjoyed, see ya next time!

Wear Pink and Make the Boys Wink + Outfit Details

"Wear Pink and Make the Boys Wink" - Lilly Pulitzer

I'm all about adding a pop of pink to any outfit, who's with me?! There's just something about the bright, yet soft color that can add the most beautiful, feminine touch to any outfit.

One of my favorite things to do has always been layering button downs and oversized sweaters. I love the polished, chic look mixed with the slouchy, oversized feel. This oversized Gap sweater is perfect for layering and SO comfy! My sweater is linked here!

A hot pink button down is something that all girls can own- hello classic versatility! If that is not a thing, I just made it one. You can wear this type of shirt with anything- I'm not kidding. Shorts, skirts, pants, under dresses, you name it! You will not regret buying a classic button down shirt. Trust me.

So let's talk about these shoes. Jeans with heels might send thoughts of 80's parties through your head. I get it! But I have recently fallen in love with casual, yet super fun look. These nude heels are linked here. (the nude color is sold out, but I love the other colors!)

Thanks for stopping by! See ya next time!

Black is the new Pink + Outfit Details

Oh the great month of February. For all you crazy lovers out there this month is a big party... As for us singles, well, ice cream and netflix is on the agenda (even more than usual).

I thought it would be fitting to feature this all black outfit for my first post of the month because black is the new pink right? Sure. But come on, how amazing is this outfit?! I feel like this would be such a great outfit to wear on the town one night. It contains the perfect amount of sass while screaming, "I promise I have my life together" (even when you really really don't).

Let's get this out of the way, turtlenecks are not out of style. They are classic and timeless and a nice black one will give you all the power to do whatever you set your mind to (think Steve Jobs). Seriously though, when I put on this oversized turtleneck, my inner sass kicks in real fast.

We've talked about black skinny jeans before- total confidence booster. Add some black pointed toe stilettos and that results in confidence overload. I think I strutted through downtown Owensboro in these jeans harder than I've strutted anywhere... No shame.

So let's talk about the shoes. Some may say that heels should only be taken out of the closet for special occasions (I can hear the girls I went to high school with whispering about it now). But in my opinion the only difference in heels and flats is a few inches and a whole lot of hotness. If you spend good money on a nice pair of heels, wear them all the time. RT.

The best part about these exact heels linked here is that they are not too tall, and they are very practical.

Sometimes all a girl needs is an outfit that makes her feel like she can conquer the world. I think I have finally found mine.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I'll see you next time!
