So I have a favorite color. Light pink is like my everything this Spring. I'm just loving the soft, dainty look of it right now.

Lace up anything is on trend right now. Whether it be flats, or dresses, if it laces up, you can be sure to make a statement.

This beautiful dress is a very affordable version of some of the higher end lace up dresses that you're seeing on the runway right now.

The details in this dress are very impressive considering I paid under $30 for it! I love the high slit in the skirt. I think it is a subtle way to make the dress a little more than just a "lace-up dress".

If I were you, I'd run to buy this dress. Embrace the lace-up trend! I've linked this exact dress here!

Also, make sure you check out Alyssa Moseley Photography! Huge thanks to her for capturing beautiful shots of this beautiful dress! All of her links are below!

Pajama Day + Outfit Details

Why can't it be pajama day every day?

I'm a sucker for nightshirts. Like literally, if I see one in a store, I am so drawn to it immediately. It is inevitable. How can you not love them?! It's like wearing no pants- but you're still decent. That's love, y'all.

This beautiful little nightie is from Old Navy. I love that it goes all the way to my knees so I do not have to worry about any "wardrobe malfunctions" while wearing it around the house.

I was so excited about doing this pajama shoot with the fabulous Alyssa Moseley Photography. I wanted a soft, delicate feel with these shots and Alyssa captured that feel perfectly.
Make sure to check her out if you are from the Kentucky area, she will not let you down! All of her social media is linked below!

Wear Pink and Make the Boys Wink + Outfit Details

"Wear Pink and Make the Boys Wink" - Lilly Pulitzer

I'm all about adding a pop of pink to any outfit, who's with me?! There's just something about the bright, yet soft color that can add the most beautiful, feminine touch to any outfit.

One of my favorite things to do has always been layering button downs and oversized sweaters. I love the polished, chic look mixed with the slouchy, oversized feel. This oversized Gap sweater is perfect for layering and SO comfy! My sweater is linked here!

A hot pink button down is something that all girls can own- hello classic versatility! If that is not a thing, I just made it one. You can wear this type of shirt with anything- I'm not kidding. Shorts, skirts, pants, under dresses, you name it! You will not regret buying a classic button down shirt. Trust me.

So let's talk about these shoes. Jeans with heels might send thoughts of 80's parties through your head. I get it! But I have recently fallen in love with casual, yet super fun look. These nude heels are linked here. (the nude color is sold out, but I love the other colors!)

Black is the new Pink + Outfit Details

Oh the great month of February. For all you crazy lovers out there this month is a big party... As for us singles, well, ice cream and netflix is on the agenda (even more than usual).

I thought it would be fitting to feature this all black outfit for my first post of the month because black is the new pink right? Sure. But come on, how amazing is this outfit?! I feel like this would be such a great outfit to wear on the town one night. It contains the perfect amount of sass while screaming, "I promise I have my life together" (even when you really really don't).

Let's get this out of the way, turtlenecks are not out of style. They are classic and timeless and a nice black one will give you all the power to do whatever you set your mind to (think Steve Jobs). Seriously though, when I put on this oversized turtleneck, my inner sass kicks in real fast.

We've talked about black skinny jeans before- total confidence booster. Add some black pointed toe stilettos and that results in confidence overload. I think I strutted through downtown Owensboro in these jeans harder than I've strutted anywhere... No shame.

So let's talk about the shoes. Some may say that heels should only be taken out of the closet for special occasions (I can hear the girls I went to high school with whispering about it now). But in my opinion the only difference in heels and flats is a few inches and a whole lot of hotness. If you spend good money on a nice pair of heels, wear them all the time. RT.

The best part about these exact heels linked here is that they are not too tall, and they are very practical.

Sometimes all a girl needs is an outfit that makes her feel like she can conquer the world. I think I have finally found mine.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I'll see you next time!

Baby it's Even Colder Outside + Outfit Details

It's cold, y'all. Here in Kentucky it really does not get unbearably cold until mid January and let me tell ya, the bitter cold stage is in full swing! Snow is on the horizon and now that I am in college, the thought of trudging through the snow is almost enough to make me cry. Needless to say, I could do without the white fluffy stuff this time around.

But, if it does have to be super cold, you better believe I am going to embrace it when it comes to my wardrobe! Anyone else obsessed with the fair isle sweater comeback? Most may look at this sweater and have thoughts of their grandparents or family photos from the 70s, but I absolutely love the timeless look and feel of these classic sweaters!

The one that I am wearing is of course, from J.Crew. In my opinion, J.Crew has the ability to mix tacky and classic and turn it into perfection. I love the navy, mint, and gray detailing in this sweater. The colors combine and seem to align perfectly with the frigid temps outside!

p.s. This sweater is now on sale PLUS you can get 30% off AND free shipping now! I've linked it here.

I paired this sweater with a navy quilted vest. The solid vest has a way of toning down the pattern in the sweater so it is not so in-your-face. Old Navy gets me every year with their vests. This one is from last year, but I have linked one that is basically identical from J.Crew here!

Skinny jeans and bean boots go together like coffee and cream. American Eagle never fails when it comes to jeans that fit me perfectly. I have linked this exact pair here! My bean boots are one of my most prized possessions. I got mine for Christmas last year and I wear them ALL THE TIME. In my opinion, they are more than worth the investment! I've linked my pair here.

Thank you all for reading today! I hope you enjoyed! See ya soon!

Baby It's Cold Outside + Outfit Details

Okay so the title is an understatement- It's FREEZING.

Hello lovelies! Long time no see... College. Need I say more? But I am back and have made it one of my resolutions for the year to really keep up with this blog! I will not fall off the wagon this time!

My best friend, Hannah (we know, we have the same name) is a saint for capturing these shots today in the ice cold air and blistering wind. This particular outfit is one of my go to winter outfits. It is simple, yet it makes a statement.

Buying this coat is a decision that I do not regret. I love the timeless look of it and the fact that it is extremely warm is a huge plus. The faux fur hood will make you feel like a million bucks (and an eskimo- but that's besides the point). I absolutely adore the gold button detailing, but he doesn't love gold detailing on anything?! This particular color is not available anymore, but there are three colors left that are swoon worthy!

*p.s. this coat is on clearance now- PLUS 50% off so RUN right now to get it!

Am I the only one who lives in J.Crew sweaters throughout the winter time? In my opinion, they are so practical and so comfy! I loved that this one mixes grays with a stripe of gold on the sides. I can wear gold jewelry, silver jewelry, or dare I say... both?! Yes please!

*this sweater is now on sale for UNDER $25! & it comes in 3 colors!

Black skinny jeans are a staple in every woman's closet. I feel like a good pair of black skinny jeans will take a woman's confidence from 5 to 15 in any given situation. The ones that I am sporting are a jegging material and I basically live in them. They are so comfy!
I bought the jeans that I'm wearing in these pictures from the T.J. Maxx clearance section (Score!) but some of my other favorites can be found at American Eagle and Express.

If you haven't embraced the bootie trend, you need to get your BOOTY to the mall and start now! I love my booties! They are incredibly practical. Whether you dress them up or down, you will be sure to catch someone's eye.

You can slide on over to Old Navy's website to snatch up the same booties that I'm wearing for under $30 here!

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed! Stay warm ladies!

Pink Colony + Outfit Details

How can one not love downtown Owensboro? It's just gorgeous. Today I spent some time there eating at the always delicious Fetta and then just strolling along the streets. Enjoying  downtown Owensboro has quickly become one of my favorite pastimes.
I went casual today with one of my favorite Gap shirts and my favorite Lilly Pulitzer callahans at the moment in "Pink Colony".
Of course, I couldn't go without my Kate Spade maise.

There's just something about rainy days that make them so soothing. I am a sucker for rainy days! I am LOVING my pink jacket with white polka dots for the Spring. It's enough to brighten any rainy day! Anyone want to take a wild guess where it's from? Target kid's section. Yes, I said kid's.
How about my gingham capris? Oh man, I'm in love. You better believe I justified every bit of the $25 I spent on them... That's right, $25. I feel like this whole outfit was just a major WIN. Topping it off, quite literally, I wore a simple baby pink lace shirt. I love pairing patterned pants with lace. The look it gives is simple, but not boring.
As for accessories, I wore a watch from Target clearance and my new favorite rose gold ring from Charming Charlie's.

Thanks for stopping by! Lots of love!
